Google announced on Monday April 11, 2001 in Google Webmaster Central Blog that it has made additional changes to its Google Panda search engine algorithm (launched in February 2011). These changes affect English-language Google users. The new enhancements include processing data of websites that have been blocked by Google search engine users and crawling deeper to the poor quality site base with the effort to further identify and improve search results for quality sites.
These Panda algorithm changes will continue negatively affecting sites with duplicate or small amounts of content, and encourage site owners to create original and relevant content for the Web.
Google estimates that the new changes in the Panda algorithm will affect about 2% US queries.
